Another successful Hoof and Holler in Ste. Rose

Rose Kinsmen have been putting on the Hoof and Holler Days for the community to come together and celebrate.   The annual event takes place over 3 days on the Thanksgiving weekend and has events for everyone. Dauphin Kin clubs help develop new Rugby fields

Over 300 youth gathered on Sunday, October 1st in Dauphin, to participate in a rugby jamboree. The jamboree featured 6 High School girls teams, and multiple youth teams (ages 5-18) from Souris, Brandon and Dauphin. What made this event unique was the fact that it was played on a field that was designated for rugby by the city of Dauphin but never had proper goalposts to actually facilitate the game. That all changed in early September when the Dauphin Kinsmen Club donated $5,500 and a further $2,000 was donated the Dauphin Kinettes.
