On June 3rd, the annual District 2 Convention came to a close in The Pas, MB and while there was business to discuss, fun to be had and money to be raised for all the causes Kin supports, it was also a time for the 44 clubs that make up District 2 to recognize and reward those clubs and individuals that excelled. Over $7500 raised in 3 Days!!!
On June 3rd, the annual District 2 Convention came to a close in The Pas, MB and the generosity of the 129 Kinsmen, Kinette and Kin members from 29 clubs in attendance once again become apparent. The donation spree began with the announcement by the sergeant-at-arms that fines through the 2 days of meetings for various infractions totaled $278.50. A motion was made that this money be donated to the North of 56 Kin club to help them in their effort to send 13 youth to Winnipeg from Leaf Rapids to take part in the Manitoba marathon.
